Love the design, haven't stitched it yet
I chose DMC 208 for this piece. I no longer consider myself a blackwork novice, but this one was quite a challenge for me. I chose this particular piece because it had a gazillion of those little one-square boxes, which I really struggle to do neatly and have come out looking square. I figured if I couldn't make a neat little box by the time this pattern was finished, then I'd never be able to! However, I believe the greater the challenge, the greater the satisfaction and that was the case for Study in Turquoise. The pattern is more intricate than many I've done up to now, and once this is sewn up into a cushion I think it will be quite elegant.
Am still adding on to this very beautiful collectible series...very clear patterns, easy to follow, gorgeous results...couldn't ask for more!
