Habit-forming!

I LOVE Claire's designs! You can see for yourself, viewing all the choices in her shop, that she is VERY creative, and has an excellent sense of style. I'm not quite sure any more how many of her designs I've purchased. I participated in two year-long stitchalongs, plan to participate in the 2022 one, and in the meantime I'm busy ordering more charts!
Warning: this is addictive!

Study in Cornflower...in DMC 3808

This, along with the hummingbird picture, was my first attempt at blackwork and it might still be my favourite. I had no idea how or where to begin—Clare's studies are challenging, which is what I love about them—but I've learned that if I sit back and just look at the pattern for a while before beginning then eventually I will begin to see the various pathways that open up. The designs just make sense, if that makes sense lol! This will become one of a set of at least four couch cushions when I get them finished. This stuff is addicting, and Clare you're my dealer!
