This design is phenomenal, and I am just so darned pleased with the outcome (but not the cushion, I really failed in fabric selection on this one). I left this piece at the cottage last summer, to work on whenever I was there so it was a long time before the start and finish on this one. I did find it more of a challenge than most but those are also the pieces that seem to give me the most personal satisfaction when they completed. Perhaps it was simply because I worked in bits and pieces so never really built up any momentum. In any case, the design is high on my favourites list and although I've never done any pattern more than once, I think I would do this one again.
I downloaded this pattern because it is absolutely gorgeous. I had to put it in my stash for now while I finish my WIP.
