Blackwork Frames

I am really enjoying stitching this pattern. The best part is that this SAL is fabulous because everything stitched is in a frame. A very clever design for an SAL and not very daunting too!

In 2020, I came across a FB post with a Peppermint Purple stitched piece, looked at the website and signed up for the newsletter that spring. In reading a newsletter, the free Stitch A Long (SAL) was mentioned, so I took a look - after stitching for 40 years, I had never done a SAL nor blackwork! I was intrigued with the design, and ended up stitching two different color schemes (one Christmas, one Mardi Gras since I am from Louisiana). I have been so impressed not only with the Peppermint Purple designs, but the level of service from the designer is impeccable. Anyone who purchases these designs will love them and be able to use them for many years to come!

First and The Best

This is my first time doing stitch work/blackwork/SAL and what an awesome way to learn and the patterns are so much fun to do. Never a dull moment with Clare's work. Will do the SAL every year! It keeps me busy the whole year, what a bargain.

This was my first ever blackwork project. The instructions and charts were very clear and detailed and made starting this project a breeze. I found that I love doing this type of stitching so much and I’m sure the ease of which I could read the pattern helped. I’m looking forward to many, many more blackwork projects!
