World Map

What an easy purchase! I haven't as yet started the stitching as I am saving if for our cruise next month. I purchased this pattern so I can use beads to mark the countries we have visited. Being Canadian, Canada color will be red!!

Fabulous piece!

I went about this a tad strangely. Did all the outline then started filling in countries we’ve traveled to. COVID has interrupted travel but we’ll be back on the road. It’s really fun to do. I’ll finish someday!!!!

A masterpiece

I completed the Blackwork version of this last summer. It took me a couple of months but I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of it and loved seeing the progress. I tried to educate myself as I went, and learn which countries I was sewing, but I probably couldn't tell you now! I completed it with slightly brighter colours than those proposed and framed it for my son. It has pride of place on his wall. I loved the challenge of a larger project and need to now decide what's next - may have to be the UK!
