This was originally a 6 part SAL which was inspired by a request; Following the snowflake and egg wreaths I was asked if I could do a Summer one (and maybe other seasons will follow)
The SAL however is now finished and so this is now available as a complete chart
SIZE:
The whole design is : 127 x 122 stitches
COLOURS:
The whole design uses 23 colours (although you can use whichever colours you like if you prefer).
STITCHES:
There are LOTS of fractional cross stitch and backstitch stitches so I recommend stitching over 2 on something like 28ct evenweave, if you use aida over 1 you will need to stitch between the holes (If you are not sure about fractionals please Click Here for a tutorial )
I enjoyed stitching this piece. The pattern was clear and accurate. I would love to see the rest of the seasons to go with this summer piece.
Made for my daughter and you can't help but smile when you see the finished article. Easy pattern to follow, and great choice of colours.
This was a more challenging piece, but so worth doing! I’m so pleased with it.
