I worked this pattern for a Christmas present. It is easy to read. I wasn’t sure about the black work when I started it but it became my favorite part of the pattern. I had several complements on the keys from music teachers.
Hints of Music is such a great design! It was fun to stitch and the finished product was stunning. When I brought it to the framers they complimented me on my work and said they hadn't seen anything like it before. Gave to my mom to put above her piano. She LOVED it! I plan to do the other design in this series so she has a set. Thanks Clare for all your wonderful designs!!
Love this pattern! Fun to stitch!!
Music is my life - seriously, I have my PhD in musicology and teach at a large university in my area and also teach private piano and voice. I'll start with the treble and then move on to the bass version. Both will have a place of honor in my studio.
